The exercise for paying old people of 80 years & above  under SAGE program is ongoing in Bushenyi district. Mrs. Loyce Atukwatsa the District Labour officer says, 370.2 million has already been paid to 1782 beneficiaries since 27th September 2021. The exercise will end on Friday & so far, 11 sub counties have been completed, remaining with Bitooma, Bumbaire, Kyeizooba, Rwentuha & Central division. Mr. Bazil Muhanguzi  DCDO says those who passed on when already in the  database, their relatives are filling forms  & will get the money when processed.
