Officials from SNV have introduced milk intake project to chairpersons LC3,SAS's/'TCs,SC  Secretaries at the district headquarters.SNV is a Netherlands supported project that promotes milk intake in school going children.The Vice chair Mugume peter said bringing on board the mentioned categories will strengthen mobilisation and sensitization of parents and headteacherson the importance of milk on childrens' brain development . Ahabwe Williams, the Ag DEO said according to school children feeding policy a child is supposed to take atleast a hot meal if not hot milk or milk in porridge.SNV  official Mugume Anselm reported that the program is 8year old in the district by dec last year 149 schools had joined. He called for more sensitization and mobilisation of parents and schools to join the program and parents to priotise nutrition for their children for better growth .
