Farm Radio International has been hailed for supporting production sector by extending e-agricultural extension messages to rural farmers .This was today at Bushenyi District headquarters where officials from FRI held an interactive meeting with the district leadership ,Production extension staff and BFM RADIO thr broadcaster of the program in Ankole region.FRI patterned with Bushenyi DLG to air e-extension Agric messages to farmers of Bushenyi in 2022 in the program called '' Green Leaf'' which runs every Friday from 8pm to 10pm.The Country head of programs Stephen Eccat said the topics discussed on radio in the implementing districts are generated by the Districts subject matterspecialists
